Pretty in Red - Variation 1 by denise-g Pretty in Red - Variation 1 by denise-g
Till some weeks ago I've never worked with a background for my fractal images.
However, I know an interesting background can contribute decisively to a good
picture. At the moment I try out just different techniques to create a background
and to integrate into an image. This is variation of an older image, "Pretty in RED" .
I like the background although he is a little bit lively.
Only I'm not sure about the flowers, I think, they sink a little in the background.
What do you think?

Created with Ultra Fractal. No Postwork ecxept the border.
All comments are very welcome and much appreciated.

FULL VIEW IS MUCH BETTER!

What a lovely fractal! The flowers and colours are gorgeous. I actually think it's good the flowers sink into the background, it kind of gives a mystical 'feeling' to the image. Great work! :)

I think I like this version best. I'd call it the autumn version. It has a magical touch.

Ich verstehe was du meinst.
meisten bevorzuge.

Hmmm...I agree about that lavender just because it's only place where that color shows up. The flowers don't bother me, though: this look is okay for me because they're so soft-looking. I love the colors and the background is really well done. Nice work, hon.

Thanks hon. Although I like it, I think this is the right term:
it seems to have come together better but I think the flowers still
are not right for the background. But is was a practice and it was
a good practice and the best after some days with frustation,
it was a lot of fun. :D

It's your image and so it has to be you being the final judge of what looks right. I respect your opinion of this and if you say it's not right, then it's not right.

(I still think it's just fine, though;))

What a very rich and interesting background! I really like the tendrils all over. There is a bright lavender spot in the center that seems to stick out. To make the flowers stand out better, you might try making a mask out of the largest flower petals (making the edges soft so they blend into the background) and pile the other smaller petal layers above it. I really like how you have done this backgound! :D

This one was a lot of fun, I like those backgrounds which looks
like an painting. You're right, the lavender spot was not so good,
I've changed this, with a mask...lol and I also have changed a
bit the flowers. At the moment the changed version is rendering.
